Bridging the Baltic conference took place from 25th to 26th October to promote education of Baltic Sea Region history. The conference took place in Tallinn as part of a 3-year European Union funded education project Different Nations – Shared Experiences. The event was attended by more than 50 educators, book authors, historians, publishers, and representatives of public organisations. Bridging the Baltic focused on the integration of the Baltic Sea Region countries and closer neighborly relations between Swedes, Estonians, Latvians and Finns. Participants had a chance to discuss the need for coherent education in the Baltic Sea Region, as well as possible ways to raise awareness of regional history through new fresh methods and materials.
